A QR code is automatically generated for each HeyForm survey, which you can offer on posters, product packaging, receipts, etc. to let survey participants take part in your survey. You will find the option to invite to the survey via QR code in your opened questionnaire in the menu “Publish” at the menu item “Overview”.
Please select “Invite via link/ QR code” there. You will then see the link to the survey, the QR code, and a blue highlighted link where you can download the QR code.
Please note: You can only select the “Invite via link/ QR code” option once your survey is online. To use the QR code, you must first put your survey online.
Inviting via QR code to the survey is a great and easy option to reach survey respondents directly on-site at an event when the impressions for feedback are fresh and up to date e.g. at a conference, at a trade show where flyers or other printed materials are displayed and a printed QR code directs to the survey. All you have to do is scan the QR code with your smartphone and interested parties are taken to the survey.
QR codes can also be used to reach survey participants of whom you do not have an e-mail address or are not allowed to use one for legal reasons – e.g. consumers in retail stores, citizens as part of a citizen survey, employees without PC access, or e-mail address.
